Linux-like SEIS OS demo

A reviewer-ready path into the live SEIS shell.

This page packages the public entry flow for the SEIS Linux Replica: a browser-local operating-system demo with boot, desktop, launcher, terminal, Live Demo Console, Demo Readiness, and supplied reference modules. It is serious demo software, not a screenshot.

Public route: seis-linux-replica-public-demo.html. Live shell deep link: seis-linux-replica.html?demo=live. Documentation path: docs/demos/SEIS_LINUX_REPLICA_PUBLIC_WALKTHROUGH.md.

Interactive reviewer console

Run the public demo like a product review, not a static checklist.

This browser-local console persists reviewer progress with seis.publicDemoReviewerConsole.v1. It does not approve a release, touch supplied assets, call providers, execute SSH, or write outside this browser session.

Open live SEIS shell

Launch the deep link in a new tab and verify boot, desktop, dock, launcher, and Live Demo Console.

Copy local server command

Use the zero-key static server command before review; it serves only the local apps/web package.

Verify Reference Vault

Confirm the 219 supplied reference modules remain available through local iframe-backed routes.

Run terminal commands

Use live, readiness, and sources inside the demo terminal.

Read safety boundary

Confirm no SSH execution, host shell, deployment, provider call, browser key, or credential storage is enabled.

Export reviewer note

Copy a compact reviewer note that distinguishes real, local demo, mock-safe, and disabled surfaces.

1. Enter the OS

Open the live demo and let the browser-local SEIS boot/login flow open the desktop shell.

2. Use Live Demo Console

Walk through Search, Code, Design, Cloud, Store, Music, AI Core, and Reference Vault surfaces.

3. Prove source coverage

Open Reference Vault and launch iframe-backed supplied modules from the local reference bank.

4. Run local terminal commands

Use live, readiness, and sources in the browser terminal.

5. Inspect Demo Readiness

Review evidence gates, local/mock boundaries, mobile fit, and remaining safe public-release actions.

6. Close with safety

State clearly that SSH, deploys, host shell, secrets, and live provider calls are disabled here.

Real

Boot flow, shell UI, launcher, draggable windows, Reference Vault, local terminal UI, and demo deep link.

Local demo

AI Core, Cloud, Store, Music, Code, and Design state changes stay inside the browser session.

Disabled

No SSH execution, no sudo, no host shell access, no deployment, and no browser API keys.

Validate

Run node scripts/check-seis-static-demo-routes.mjs and the focused browser smoke before release.
